A wholesaler wants to increase the impact of telephone and mailshot sales to retailers.

An analysis of product lines purchased by month by retailer could show up vital trends in consumer purchasing. This would allow sales to target quantity and repeat stock lines to avoid the retailer either running out of stock or forgetting to place a repeat order.

There is always a trade off over the cost of collecting, processing and disseminating data to the benefits obtained. It is usual to do some sort of cost/benefit analysis to decide on the level of information needed and hence data to be handled.

We developed a new order fulfillment web interface for some of Innovate Logistics' customers and more importantly a new EDI to xml messaging processor.
